Locations: Easton, PA (Tatamy Creek) & Bethlehem, PA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Salary: Starting at $42,000/year

Buxmont Academy is seeking compassionate, dedicated Special Education Teachers for our Easton (Tatamy Creek) and Bethlehem campuses. If you are committed to supporting at-risk middle and high school students, helping them overcome challenges, and guiding them toward academic and personal success, we want to meet you.

Both positions share the same responsibilities and mission, with slight differences in daily schedules and campus focus.

Campus Options

Tatamy Creek Campus - Easton, PA

Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Bethlehem Campus - Bethlehem, PA

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Teach small groups and individualized instruction
• Create and maintain IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Facilitate IEP meetings and collaborate with families
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Work with a cross-disciplinary team to meet student needs
• Use restorative practices to guide behavior and build relationships

Who We're Looking For

We welcome experienced teachers, new graduates, and returning educators. Ideal candidates have:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Special Education certification, or eligibility to obtain certification
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
• Excellent organization and classroom management abilities
