Special Education Teacher

Position: Special Education Teacher

Location:Milford High School

Schedule: 2025-2026 School Year

Salary: Per Teachers’ Contract

To Start:December 2025

Qualifications:
•Massachusetts Department of Education Teacher License- Certified in Moderate and/or Severe Special Needs with SEI endorsement
•Knowledge and experience with Curriculum Frameworks of Portfolio Assessments
•Experience administering MCAS
•Experience administering and interpreting diagnostic assessments
•Experienced administering evaluations
•Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism
•High School experience preferred

Responsibilities:
•Liaison for students on caseload
•Develop and modify curriculum and curriculum materials for each student
•Co-teach and/or small group classroom instruction
•Supervise assistants in the classroom
•Complete evaluations and reports for initial and re-evaluation of students
•Write IEPs and progress reports
•Facilitate annual review meetings according to regulations and timelines
•Ability to use software credit recovery system
