We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive, collaborative program serving at-risk youth. This position is ideal for both licensed Massachusetts teachers and aspiring educators working toward licensure, who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in a structured, relationship-based learning environment.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and individual student needs
Design and implement differentiated, hands-on instructional strategies
Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Participate in Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings and team collaboration
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Create and maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Implement behavior support strategies in collaboration with team members
Supervise students to ensure safety and consistency throughout the school day
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services, or related field
Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency with computer-based systems (IEP platforms, Microsoft Office, reporting tools)
Valid driver’s license
Applicants not currently licensed must meet waiver eligibility, apply for licensure, and obtain licensure post-hire in accordance with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
