Special Education Teacher (Inclusion & Pull-Out)
The Special Education Teacher provides specially designed instruction to students with disabilities through both inclusion (in-class support/co-teaching) and pull-out (resource) services. The teacher collaborates with general education staff, delivers accommodations and modifications, and provides targeted instruction aligned to student IEPs. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, maintaining compliance with all ARD/IEP requirements, implementing behavior and instructional interventions, supporting students’ academic and social-emotional needs, and maintaining accurate documentation for their case load. The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and knowledge of special education laws, while ensuring students receive appropriate services in the least restrictive environment.
