Summary of Position Impact: The Inclusion special education teacher will ensure that all students in grade 6 receiving specialized program services are supported to access greater opportunities with their grade level general education environment through the application of evidence based coaching and consultation practices. The professional will work collaboratively with school leaders, classroom teams and specialized program related service providers to ensure the successful inclusion of students with disabilities into general education classes, experiences, and the larger school community. The inclusion teacher must rely on data based recommendations, learning more about the unique needs of the students served as well as consider any barriers present, which may require remediation.
