Bresnahan Elementary School is looking for Special Education Teacher
We are looking for a dynamic, positive person who enjoys working with elementary school students, who is comfortable in a fast-paced school environment, and who is interested in collaborating with a team of teachers.
Candidates must be comfortable differentiating and modifying curriculum, and providing programming to students with varying profiles. In addition, the teacher will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary teaching team to support students.
We are looking for an energetic and flexible educator who is interested in contributing to our school culture through activities outside the classroom (clubs, professional programs, and extracurricular activities) and working by the Clipper Values (respect, kindness, innovation, perseverance, responsibility, reflection).

Knowledge Required:
Currency in the curriculum, including knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Effective planning and assessment of curriculum and instruction for students with language-based learning disabilities.
Effective classroom management and experience with a sub-separate model.
Effective instruction in a standards-based classroom.
Promotion of high standards and expectations for student proficiency.
Promotion of equity and appreciation of diversity.
Effective integration of technology across the curriculum.
