Position:Special Education Teacher
Location:Milford High School
Schedule:2025-2026 School Year
Salary:Per Teachers Contract
To Start:September 2025
Qualifications:
●Massachusetts Department of Education Teacher License-Certified in Moderate and/or Severe Special Needs with SEI endorsement
●Knowledge and experience with Curriculum Frameworks of Portfolio Assessments
●Experience administering MCAS
●Experience administering and interpreting diagnostic assessments
●Experienced administering evaluations
●Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism
●High School experience preferred
Responsibilities:
●Liaison for students on caseload
●Develop and modify curriculum and curriculum materials for each student
●Co-teach and/or small group classroom instruction
●Supervise assistants in the classroom
●Complete evaluations and reports for initial and re-evaluation of students
●Write IEPs and progress reports
●Facilitate annual review meetings according to regulations and timelines
●Ability to use software credit recovery system
