United Staff Group is currently accepting applications for two dedicated and credentialed Special Education Teachers to serve K–5 students in California for the 2025–2026 school year. The selected educators will be responsible for providing academic instruction, behavioral intervention, and social-emotional support in alignment with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), ensuring compliance with California state education standards and the IDEA framework.
Special Education Teacher – Full-Time
Location: Galt, California
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of students.
Provide targeted instruction in both academic and functional skills.
Maintain communication and collaboration with general education teachers, parents, and service providers.
Conduct assessments and collect data to track student progress.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Valid California Education Specialist Credential.
Experience supporting students with disabilities such as autism, learning differences, and emotional/behavioral challenges.
Familiarity with state and federal special education laws.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
