Special Education Teacher - Elementary (LOA) 1465

Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Special Education teacher for the Language-Based Program at the Vinson-Owen Elementary School for a leave of absense beginning at the start of October, 2025 and going through the end of January, 2026.

• to provide support services for students on IEPs within the general education setting, as well as in pull-out and potentially remote settings.
• Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs, conducting and analyzing assessments, facilitating TEAM meetings, have strong communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
• Training and/or certification in specialized reading programs such as Wilson or Orton-Gillingham is necessary.

• Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Cerification
• Ideally Masters plus 3 years experience
