⮚Provide leadership and manage a classroom team of paraprofessionals and therapists.
⮚Ability to work as a productive member of the instructional team to maximize student outcomes.
⮚Development of the knowledge and skills to design and implement.
⮚Deeper Learning pedagogical practices.
⮚Develop and implement an instructional program in in transition and life skills for high school age students with special needs.
⮚Write reports, develop IEP’s, maintain data collection employing research-based best practice strategies to demonstrate student progress and adjust student goals.
⮚Responsible for working with students in the community in a variety of transition related domains (employment, post-secondary education, recreation, daily living skills, etc.) and during these activities collect ongoing transitional data.
⮚Work with expert consultants to develop effective support systems for students.
⮚Develop positive relationships with families.
⮚Other duties as required.
SALARY: $59,360 to $103,491 per SCEC Union Contract Salary Scale
