Special Education Teacher / Girls Assistant Coach

Position Overview:
This position combines instructional responsibilities in special education with coaching duties in girls’ athletics. The ideal candidate will be committed to student success, skilled in working with diverse learners, and enthusiastic about developing student-athletes through teamwork, discipline, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
-Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to support diverse learning needs
-Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
-Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
-Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Coaching Responsibilities:
-Serve as an assistant coach for girls’ athletics (sport assignments based on campus needs)
-Assist with planning, organizing, and supervising practices, games, and events
-Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and accountability among student-athletes
-Support strength and conditioning programs and offseason development
-Maintain communication with athletes, parents, and coaching staff
