As a Special Education Teacher at Aaron School, you will play a key role in shaping a supportive, engaging, and individualized learning experience for students with diverse needs. You will help students build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach meaningful milestones in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Need

  • Master's degree in special education or a related field from an accredited institution

  • Active New York State Special Education teaching certification

  • Experience developing and managing individualized learning goals and objectives

  • Strong communication skills for engaging students, families, and staff

  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs

What You'll Do

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned to curriculum goals and student needs

  • Develop and track individualized goals, adjusting instruction based on student progress

  • Collaborate with faculty and leadership to differentiate and implement curriculum effectively

  • Implement classroom management strategies and behavior support plans

  • Partner with families through regular communication to support student success
