Your Role as a Teacher at Elim

In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact every single day. You’ll:

• Help students reach their personal learning goals and celebrate their progress
• Create a positive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment
• Support and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Use strategies tailored to students with complex sensory, behavioral, and communication needs
• Lead with kindness and clarity, guiding and collaborating with paraprofessionals in your room

Position Details

Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM
(plus a 6-week Extended School Year program, included in salary)

Starting Salary:
$67,739 – $73,479 (based on experience & education)
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus Included!

• Current Illinois teaching license with PEL
