Special Education Teacher - High School Resource Program 2026 - 2027 (District-wide Pool)

Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified high school Special Education Teacher candidates for positions in a resource program setting in the 2026 - 2027 school year. This general posting will be used to generate an applicant pool for these positions. As specific openings are identified, building administrators will contact you if you are selected for an interview.

The resource program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend the majority of their time within general education. Teachers may provide pull-out services, push-in supports or co-teach with general education teachers.

Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Salary:
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
