Special Education Teacher – High School Intellectual Disabilities (ID Program)

Menasha Joint School District is seeking a Special Education teacher for a high school Intellectual Disabilities (ID) program. This position is primarily self-contained and focuses on functional academics, life skills, communication, and social-emotional development. The teacher will design and implement individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals, collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and service providers, and partner with general education staff, with possible co-teaching in one or two classes.

The ideal candidate is student-centered, collaborative, and committed to inclusive practices that promote independence, dignity, and belonging for students with significant support needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
• Valid Wisconsin DPI Special Education teaching license
