Special Education Teacher (LBD) - Zoneton Middle School 2026-2027 school year

ZMS is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher certified in Learning and Behavior Disorders (LBD).

The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and deliver high-quality instruction designed to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. This educator will demonstrate a strong belief that high expectations for all students are not only important, but achievable, and will implement instructional strategies and interventions that support students in reaching mastery of their learning goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement standards-based lessons aligned to IEP goals

• Use data to drive instruction and monitor student progress

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff

• Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

• Implement behavior supports and differentiated instructional strategies

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education regulations
