POSITION: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER/LEARNING SPECIALIST

Ottoson Middle School is looking for a long term substitute Special Education Teacher for January and February 2026, to cover for a teacher on a leave of absence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Special Education Preferred
- Two or more years successful teaching experience in Special Education
- Massachusetts Certification in Special Education Preferred (Moderate/Severe)
REPORTS TO: Special Education Coordinator & Building Principal
JOB GOAL:
Responsible for planning instruction and/or curricula adaptations for included special needs students which allow students to meet high standards and success in typical settings.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct instruction to students enrolled in special
