The Neshaminy School District is seeking Special Education Teachers for its anticipated Learning Support positions at the elementary level. Openings may be in any of the District’s elementary buildings. These positions are anticipated to start in August 2026 for the 26-27 school year.
Salary and benefits are consistent with the NFT collective bargaining agreement, which can be found on the Neshaminy.org website under Human Resources.
Qualifications include a valid PA certification for K-12 Special Education. Positions may be posted with a specific special education focus or program area. Teachers are hired as special education teachers within the district so that assignments can be adjusted as student needs evolve from year to year. Special Education teachers in all roles are tasked with providing appropriate learning experiences for all assigned students. Other essential job duties, include, but are not limited to:
Applicants must be in good standing with Act 48 credits. Neshaminy School District requires a valid Child Abuse Clearance, FBI clearance, PA State Police Criminal Check, and completed Act 168 forms for all employees before they may begin work.
