POSITION SUMMARY:
Littleton High School's Resource program is a part of our Learning Support Services Department, serving students with a range of special education needs (mild-moderate). Qualified applicants will demonstrate excellent instructional skills as well as effective case management including the development and implementation of IEPs, coordination of a multi-disciplinary team including related service providers and partnerships with families, community agencies and district personnel. The role may also include effective paraprofessional supervision and scheduling.
Expectations include strong communication and collaboration, attention to detail and hands-on modeling of skills. Case management and instructional duties will be delivered in a manner that is consistent with district guidance and standards. Instructional models include co-teaching, individual and small group instruction and consultation within general education to ensure the implementation of accommodations to ensure students receive access to their least restrictive environment.

Successful applicants must be properly licensed for assignment as a Professional Educator according to the Colorado Department of Education.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: (Annual salary schedule based on 1.0 FTE)
WORK YEAR: 187 contract days (district educator calendar)

NOTE: While you may look up your estimated salary on the linked salary schedule, updates for the 2026-2027 school year are contingent upon negotiated increases that are approved by the LPS Board of Education in the summer season. Additionally, know that these salary values are based on a 1.0 FTE working 187 contract days.
