Description: Special Education Teacher (Long Term Sub)
Job Summary:
Within federal and state law and regulations and district policy and practice:- Responsible for the management of the instructional program for assigned students. Responsible to establish and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assist in same throughout the building
- Responsible for the assessment of student progress
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by the building principal which are necessary to fulfill the basic function of the position and are consistent with the Master Agreement
FTE: 1.0 prorated for days worked in the assignment (8/25/25 through 10/31/25) This position has return rights pursuant to language in the Teacher Master agreement.
Salary Range: BA, Step 1 at $46, 802/yr to MA, Step 17 at $100,964/yr, depending on education and experience. View salary grid on the respective bargaining unit listed above, accessible via our Master Agreements page
Qualifications: - Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited
- Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required for Special Education
