Guilford Central School has an opening for a special educator to serve as a long-term leave replacement from August 2026 through January 2027. We are seeking a special education teacher with strong knowledge and experience implementing universal design practices in K-6th-grade school settings. Responsibilities include case management and direct instruction supporting a continuum of services within emerging multi-tiered systems of support. Candidates must have experience and skills in reading remediation, curriculum differentiation, and federal/state special education regulations. Candidates must have excellent communication skills with a commitment to working collaboratively with teachers and families.
