Special Education Teacher LTS

Kingston Intermediate is seeking a Long Term Substitute (LTS) Special Education Teacher at Kingston Intermediate School a grade 3-6 school.

This special education teaching position is working with students who have documented disabilities and require specially designed instruction. 

The position is from the beginning of September through the last day of the school year in June 2026. 

This candidate:

• will be responsible for evaluating students, writing IEPs and Progress Reports and attending IEP Meetings.
• will work with students on academic, social and behavioral skills and support them throughout their day.
• should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing. 
• will collaborate with other staff members and take part in professional development.
• should be approproately licensed to teach special education by DESE.

This is a one year position with a daily rate of $312 per day beginning on day 1 of the assignment.
