Special Education Teacher Middle School (Urgent)

United Staff Group is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team and support Middle School students in achieving academic success. We are looking for individuals who are committed to creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive. This role involves close collaboration with administrators, general education staff, and families to ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized instruction based on Pennsylvania Common Core Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Skilled in behavior modification, emotional support, and special education best practices.

Experienced in progress monitoring and data-driven instruction.

Develops engaging lessons, projects, and assessments aligned with standards.

Collaborates with general education teachers to deliver inclusive curriculum.

Writes and implements effective IEPs, FBAs, PBSPs, 504s, and GIEPs.

Builds strong relationships with students and families through clear communication.

Committed to cultural competence and continuous professional growth.

Utilizes technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Applies data analysis to improve instruction and student outcomes.

Promotes critical thinking through inquiry-based learning.


Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree
● PA Certification in both Special Education PreK-8 or Special Education N-12,
additional subject area is preferred
● 1-3 years experience with Special Education students
● Wilson Language System (preferred)
● Criminal history, child abuse and FBI clearances (Acts 34, 151 and FBI)
