5/29/2026 Lyons Township High School is currently accepting applications for a part-time Special Education Teacher assignment for the second semester of the 2025-2026 school year. This position will be responsible for teaching two periods and will have one planning/preparation period per day. Compensation for this role will be based on a 20% proration of the full-time annual salary, as determined by placement on the certified teacher salary schedule per the LTEA Negotiated Agreement.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn additional compensation during the remaining periods of the day as either a paraeducator in the Special Education Department or as a daily substitute teacher.
