Special Education Teacher LEAP Program
Wamsutta Middle School
This program provides a highly-structured environment that emphasizes academic skill development including reading, mathematics, written language, expressive/receptive communication, problem-solving and organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Licensure as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8) or (5-12) preferred
Exceptions to the above qualifications shall be made as the Superintendent deems appropriate and acceptable
JOB GOAL/PURPOSE: To ensure that students with an IEP receive services in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations. Provides support through MTSS to benefit all students.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal and/or Director of Special Education PERFORMANCE
