The Campbell Elementary School is seeking Special Education Teachers for our Elementary STRIVE substantially separate program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. There are two positions available.
A certification in Severe Disabilities is preferred, but certifications in Moderate Disabilities will be considered.
Essential responsibilities:
*Provide specialized instruction to students in a Special Education setting
*Have a strong understanding of developmental milestones and modified curriculum at the elementary level
*Experience and general understanding of the concepts of Applied Behavioral Analysis
*Experience with being part of the instructional support team, including classroom teachers, auxiliary support service providers, BCBA and paraprofessionals
*Experience with IEP drafting and progress monitoring through the collection of data
*Experience with assessment and eligibility determination
*Strong organization, writing and communication skills
Other responsibilities:
*Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
*Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
*Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
*Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
*Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)
