The State College Area School District is seeking enthusiastic and resourceful substitute paraprofessionals for the 2025-26 school year to support our classroom teachers and students. The district is seeking candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess diverse professional experiences. Substitute paraprofessionals will reinforce classwork, guide activities under the supervision of a teacher, and prepare teaching materials. An outstanding substitute paraprofessional will be someone whose patient and student-centered approach enables all students to benefit from learning experiences. Substitute Paraprofessional job duties may differ with each placement. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in these positions.
