Preschool Special Education Teacher and 

Special Education Teacher-Elementary Special Educator for the Discovery Learning Center, a program for students with autism

• Master’s level required,
• 3 years experience at least teaching children with autism,
• Moderate Disabilities DESE certification in the required grade level or Intensive

Job Description: 

• Complete progress reports

• Provide specialized instruction and accommodations to students with disabilities, including autism, and developmental delays/intellectual disability

• Modify curriculum to grade level entry points as needed, implement functional curricula, discrete trials 

• Implement behavior support plans and collect data to inform progress and interventions

• Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis, Social Thinking Curriculums, Zones of Regulation required

• Facilitate social skills groups and incidental teaching techniques for social skills

• Communication with parents
