Title of Position: 

Summer Special Education Teacher-Specialized Programs (Integrated Pre-K, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, Post Grad)

 

Work Year:

Summer 2026

 

Location/Hours:

Goodnow (K-5): 8:15-1:45 (includes prep time)

MHS (6-PG): 7:45-1:15 (includes prep time)

 

Effective Dates of Employment:

 

Integrated Pre-K, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, & Post Grad Programs

  • July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026 (Monday - Friday - 4 weeks)

Compensation:

 

Integrated PreK, Pathways, Learning Center, Connections, Tutoring, & Post Grad Programs

  • $5,000 Stipend (4 weeks, includes onsite summer work & prep)

 

Organizational Relationship:

Reports to the Summer School Building Administrator, Summer Supervisor for Special Education and Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Equity

 

Statement of Duties:

  • Plan, prepare for and provide instruction in accordance with student IEPs to prevent substantial regression of previously learned material

  • Provide a short student summary report of student performance, as well as any student data at the conclusion of the summer program

  • Responsible for other general duties as indicated by the Summer Administrators, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School

Qualifications:

  • Licensed by the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education as a Moderate or Severe Needs Special Education Teacher for the appropriate grade level
  • Bachelor's or higher earned academic degree
  • Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
