North Marion High School is seeking a Special Education Teacher / Case Manager to create a vibrant learning community for students. This position plays a key role in supporting students with special needs. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the identification of students in need of Special Education Services
  • Diagnosis of learning needs
  • Writing and implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEP)
  • Consult with and provide assistance to classroom teachers in their efforts to support students experiencing disabilities in their classroom
  • Establish relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a sense of belonging and community. 

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an endorsement in Special Education
  • Valid Oregon Teaching License with applicable Special Education endorsements and authorization level(s)
  • Must meet all other TSPC license requirements, including Background and Criminal History Clearance
  • Ability to maintain strength of knowledge and practice in instructional skills and strategies
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of subject matter, to seek professional growth, improve classroom instruction, and to qualify for license renewal by following both state and district regulations

NOTE: Position is eligible for an annual stipend of $3,750 pro-rated for the remainder of the school year.  This is a temporary position for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.
