Education / Certificate 1. Associate of Arts degree or paraprofessional certification required 2. Must obtain and maintain CPR and first aid certification 3. Must sign an AHCSS Provider Participation Agreement and obtain a provider number as required 4. Must have and maintain a valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience 1. Prior experience working with special needs children desired 2. Must be 21 years of age or older upon hire Communication Skills 1. Must possess a positive attitude toward students, teachers, staff and parents/guardians 2. Must possess the ability to take and follow directions 3. Must be proficient in the use of the English language, both verbal and written 4. Must possess a warmth and understanding for special needs students Computer Skills 1. Must possess basic computing and clerical skills
