Leverett Elementary and Washington Elementary are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Special Education Teacher to join the Fayetteville Public Schools team. This position serves two elementary schools and involves providing high-quality ELA and math instruction across a variety of instructional settings, including small group pull-out and push-in co-taught environments. The responsibilities include delivering differentiated instruction in English Language Arts and mathematics to meet the diverse needs of students with exceptionalities, collaborating with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom practices, creating a supportive learning environment, implementing IEP goals with fidelity and maintaining accurate student records. Interested applicants must hold licensure in Special Education or be willing to obtain certification, have strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills and a commitment to meeting the unique needs of each student. Elementary Education certification is also preferred but not required
