Anticipated Special Education Teacher

Gateway School District is anticipating hiring up to four (4) Special Education Teachers for the 2026-27 School year. Elementary and Secondary positions are anticipated

Required Certifications

Any of the listed Pennsylvania Special Education Certifications below are accepted:

• Special Education 7-12
• Special Education N-12 [*preferred]
• Special Education PK-12 [*preferred]
• Special Education PK-8

Required Clearances

• Act 34 PA State Police Criminal History
• Act 114 Federal Criminal History
• Act 151 PA State Child Abuse History
• TB Test (no more than 3 months old)

Experience with students with intellectual disabilities, social/emotional needs, or the Autism spectrum is preferred.
