Salary Range: $45,000-$60,000, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Paraprofessional to join our Audit and Assurance team in our Cleveland office.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in the financial service industry, specifically public accounting, who enjoys working behind the scenes to support a collaborative, deadline-driven team. You’ll play a key role in helping our auditors deliver quality service across a wide range of industries, from healthcare and manufacturing to nonprofit and real estate.
Responsibilities:
• Support the audit team with engagement setup, document organization, and finalization procedures
• Assist in compiling financial statements, confirmations, and engagement letters
• Assist with proof reading the financial statements regarding grammar, formatting, and footing
• Track open and finalized financial statements through a workflow system
• Help with the tracking of professional training certifications
• Organize client documents and file them into engagement folders
• Learn firm processes, policies, and tools
• Take on special projects and contribute to department-wide initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a related professional services environment
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
• Basic understanding of auditing and accounting principles
