Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School-Based Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify behavioral needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families.
- Analyze behavioral data and modify intervention strategies based on student progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide behavioral recommendations.
- Train school staff in evidence-based behavior management strategies and positive behavior supports.
- Conduct classroom observations and develop individualized behavioral interventions.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, district policies, and ethical standards established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Maintain timely documentation, reports, and data collection.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Previous school-based BCBA experience is preferred.
- Experience conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and participating in IEP meetings.
