  •   Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a long-term substitute paraprofessional in the CID (Communications Interaction Disorder) program at Roseville Area Middle School providing program support for a middle school-age student in a setting three special education program. This position works 7 hours per day for the 2025-2026 school year starting August 26, 2025.

    Responsible To: Building Principal, Heidi George

    Qualifications: Special Education paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test or ParaEducator Assessment. (To take a Parapro Test, visit The ParaPro Assessment or call 1-800-772-9476; to take the ParaEducator Assessment, visit the Bright Works website - test is paid for at the employee’s expense). 

    Compensation: Starting salary is $17.95 - $20.25 per hour with a district contribution toward medical and dental insurance. Special education paraprofessionals may be eligible to earn an additional $2.00 per hour after completing district special education training.  

    Application Timeline: Starting salary is $11.01 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for those who complete the District Special Education Training.  This position also includes a District Contribution toward health and dental insurance.
