POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the CLD Leadership and facilitates English Language Development for students. Monitors, supports, and assists with testing of Multi-Langauge Learners under the guidance of a licensed CLD Leader. Supervises student conduct, instructs individual or small groups of students, assists with data entry, and supports school-wide assessment.  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum one year of successful job-related experience
• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Work keys tests Applied Math and Workplace Documents with a score of 3 or higher, Associates Degree, or 48 college credit hours 
• Experience teaching English desired

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with computer technologies, data-entry
• Knowledge of English Language Development
• Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, students, parents
• Ability to use diagnostic data to tailor instruction to meet the needs of the student(s)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Administers tests and other assignments as assigned
• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce instructional material planned and/or presented by CLD Leader.
• Interacts with technology for data entry and instruction
• Monitors students before, during, or after school
• Assists with lesson plans
• Maintain communication with classroom teachers regarding student progress
• Perform other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION

• Annual Salary Range $27,424.08 to $31,007.70 depending on experience and education.
• Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits.
• Employer paid Life, Short Term Disability, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment.
• Accrued Paid Leave at 8 hours per calendar month worked; Total 80 hours.
