CTE Paraprofessional

Part-Time Career and Technical Education Paraprofessional      

POSITION SUMMARY: The paraprofessional is responsible to assist students in Career and Technical Education classes under the direction of an instructor.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the students’ successful completion of coursework through tutoring, daily note taking, makeup work and assisting with tests, quizzes and/or projects.  Responsible for completing semester/trimester summary reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:                         

Ÿ Demonstrated ability to work with special needs students.

Ÿ Demonstrated ability to handle situations in a confidential and professional manner.

Ÿ Demonstrated verbal, written and oral communication skills
Ÿ High school graduate required, post-secondary education preferred

Ÿ Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ÿ Prefer experience in Career and Technical Education
