Position Overview:
- Provide specialized and engaging instruction, accommodations, and modifications to address individual student goals within the Pre-K curriculum and mandated Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Administer screenings and ongoing assessments to monitor student progress across developmental domains, including accurate data entry and tracking within IEP management systems (e.g., IEP Direct).
- Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure cohesive support across all learning environments and implement instructional planning and IEP adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher Certification (#165) (Required)
- Prior experience or specialized training in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), focusing on early intervention and child development
