Early Intervention Paraprofessionals

The Hazleton Area School District is currently seeking applications, letters of interest and resumes for the following position. Salary / Hourly Rate as per Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Hazleton Area School District and Hazleton Area Education Support Professional Association.

Early Intervention Paraprofessional 6.5hrs.

Children’s Service Center – Wilkes Barre

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification requirements:

1. Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education.
2. Obtained an associates degree or higher.
3. Met a rigorous standard of quality as judged by successfully completing a formal state or local academic assessment of his/her knowledge of:
   1. Education and related topics
   2. Instructional techniques necessary to assist in the instruction of reading, writing, and mathematics
