Vacancies exist for ELD Bilingual Paraprofessionals throughout Norristown Area School District.
Duties:
- Provides instructional and clerical support to teachers
- Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups
- Provides verbal and written translation services in support of the educational program at the assigned school
- Performs related duties as required
Requirements:
- Bilingual - Spanish required
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of community resources and agencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
Ability to translate verbally and in writing (English and Spanish)
2024-2025 Hourly Rate:
$21.11-$27.62
*Dependent upon years of related experience and PA Certification*
