Danvers Public seeking a Special Education Teacher
This position reports to the Building Principal

Job Description
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Deliver specially designed instruction in both inclusive and pull-out settings, tailored to student goals and learning styles
Collaborate with general education teachers to support differentiated instruction and classroom accommodations
Implement and monitor behavior support plans, as appropriate
Conduct progress monitoring and utilize data to inform instructional decisions and update IEP goals
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Communicate regularly with families to share student progress and foster strong school-home partnerships
Support students' development of executive functioning, self-advocacy, and social skills
Utilize assistive technology and other tools to enhance access to curriculum and learning opportunities
