The Paraprofessional is a vital member of the Family Intensive Treatment (FIT) team at Bay State Community Services (BSCS). This role offers the opportunity to provide family-centered, strength-based support to a small caseload of 4–6 families. At BSCS, we recognize that meaningful, high-quality care takes time. That’s why we prioritize manageable caseloads and provide the resources necessary to support youth and families effectively.
What you will be doing to make a difference:
• Be part of a dedicated and committed team including Clinician’s, Family Partners, and other behavioral health providers
• Work in tandem with the Clinician to collect information to complete a comprehensive assessment
• Meet independently and with your team members with the youth and/or families to provide support, education, and resources.
• Support the Treatment Plan Goals
• Identify and connect caregiver(s) to formal and informal community resources
• Assist with referrals and resources
