REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree, 60 credits
• Physical abilities sufficient to frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and/or lifting.
• Ability to relate and communicate with children, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Flexibility to support diverse classroom needs and instructional settings.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more years of experience working with students in a school setting.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient for prolonged and effective contact with students.
• Familiarity with elementary classroom routines and management strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support classroom teacher with instruction and learning activities
• Provide small group and one-on-one student support as directed
•  Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess
• Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources
• Monitor student behavior and respond to student needs
• Communicate with teacher about student progress and concerns
• Attend required professional development and staff meetings
• Other duties as assigned by teacher, principal, or Director of Student Services

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Remainder of 2025-26 school year

SALARY/BENEFITS:

• According to the Paraprofessional Master Agreement (Pay Level 1)
• 10 sick days - 2 personal days per year
• Various paid holidays
• Insurance benefit 30 + hours/week
• Longevity after 5 years of service
