JOB SUMMARY
Eastside Catholic School is seeking a High School Special Education Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year to join our special education team. This position serves as a member of both the Options Program and the Learning Support Department.
The Options Program supports students with mild to moderate intellectual, developmental and cognitive disabilities. We are seeking a passionate educator who is deeply committed to helping students develop the functional, academic and adaptive skills needed to thrive and live as independently as possible within their communities. Coursework is individualized and may include Reading, Literature, Math, Science, Careers, Communications and Social Skills, Social Studies, Health, Music Therapy, History, Religious Studies and Technology.
In addition to Options Program teaching responsibilities, this position will also support the Learning Support Department, which provides accommodation and academic support for students with documented learning differences.
Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a deep belief in the dignity and potential of every student.
