Individualized Education Program (IEP) Development & Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs that address students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
Instructional Support: Deliver specialized instruction in various settings (pull-out, push-in, small group, one-on-one) tailored to students' individual needs, utilizing research-based strategies and accommodations.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document student progress toward IEP goals, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, and families to create a cohesive support system for students.
Behavioral and Social-Emotional Support: Implement positive behavior interventions and social-emotional learning strategies to promote a supportive classroom environment.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations regarding special education services, including timely completion of documentation and participation in required meetings.
Family Engagement: Maintain open and regular communication with families, involving them in the educational process and supporting their role in their child's development.
