    Position:
       Instructional Assistant Paraprofessional

    Effective Date:
    August 25

    Hours:
      6 hours per day
      5 days per week
      180 days - 10 months

    Pay:
    $22.86 to $25.95

    Required Education:
       High School Diploma and two years post secondary education 
       *A passing score on the Para ProTest is equivalent

    Required Experience:
    • Experience working with children 
    • A positive, flexible individual who enjoys working in a collaborative, team environment
    Responsibilities:
    • Assist teachers with the educational needs of students under the direction of staff
    • Assist with the supervision of students during lunch and recess
    • Assist in the success and growth of Westwood students through a collaborative team effort
