Qualifications:
State of Illinois Paraprofessional Certification.
Experience related to classroom instruction.
Other qualifications as determined by the school board.

Building Principal
Performance Descriptors: - Aid classroom teacher as required and needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude with all personnel to promote a positive school climate.
- Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers.
- Assists with the supervision of students during non-instructional times, including but not limited to, emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips.
- Maintains work area and classroom as a safe and productive learning environment.
- Alerts the classroom teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.
- Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation, pertaining to teacher and students.
- Continuously strives to improve professional competence and collaboration with colleagues and communities.
- Implements all rules and regulations, policies and administrative guidelines as adopted by the School Board for the district.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Maintains regular attendance.
- Adheres to the professional code of conduct.
- Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned by the administration.
2025-2026 Starting Salary: $16.50
July 1, 2026 - raise of $1.25 to $17.75 per hour
July 1, 2027 - raise of $1.25 to $19.00 per hour

Hiring Bonus:
$400
($150 60 days from hire date, $250 on 1-year anniversary)
