Kindergarten Special Education Teacher - Leave Replacement Position
Anticipated Dates: September 1, 2026 � June 22, 2027
Harding Elementary School
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid NJDOE Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification and appropriate elementary instructional certification required.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of special education practices, IEP implementation, differentiated instruction, and effective teaching methods for early childhood/elementary learners.
3. Ability to create and maintain a positive, structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
4. Effective communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and the Child Study Team.
6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
7. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L.2011, Chapter 70).
