Position Title: Long Term Special Education Teacher, EBD Setting, 2025-26 School Year
Primary Location: Winona Senior High School
Assignment Specifications: From October 1, 2025 - November 17, 2025
Pay Rate: $20.00per hour/Long term sub pay after 20th continuous day.
Responsibilities: Winona Area Public Schools is seeking candidates to fill a long-term substitute teaching position in an EBD setting at the Winona Senior High School. Under the direction of the Building Principal, the licensed teacher is responsible for delivering and instructing students in instructional material; evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives; monitoring and evaluating student behavior; completing due process paperwork; participating in individual education plan meetings with colleagues and parents; participating and collaborating with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives, curriculum, and building issues.
Qualifications: Preferred qualified candidates applying for this vacancy will hold an ABS or EBD license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
